How do we get there?
Please refer to our location page and follow the directions. Bluff River Road is conveniently located straight off the New England Highway when heading south from Tenterfield NSW. Google Maps can also guide you to our location.

Can a 2WD Vehicle access the property?
Bluff River Road is an unsealed road and in some parts can be a little rough however many small vehicles have made the trip down to the lodge and cottages without a problem, which only adds to the ‘experience’ of holidaying in a wilderness area.

Is Camping OR Caravans/RV’s Allowed on the Property?
No, we do not currently offer this service.

Is Fishing Allowed?
Yes, fishing is permitted within the compounds of the property, however please note we are a ‘Catch and Release Area.’

Do you have drinking water?
YES. The water available on the property is sourced from rainwater tanks beside the lodge. This water is clear, fresh and untreated. In the dry season when the tank levels run low it may be pumped from the river, which is also fresh and uncontaminated.

Can we bring our pets?
No, we DO NOT allow pets on the property.

Do you have Internet services?
Yes, we have FREE wireless Internet available at the lodge for visitors on request.

Do you have Mobile Reception on the property?
Mobile reception is limited to various parts of Bluff River Road. We do not have any mobile reception within the compounds of the Lodge or Riverside Cottages, which only adds to the beauty of getting away from it all….

Do you have Disabled Access?
YES, Cottage (4) provides wheelchair access entry to your lodging.

Sorry, we do not currently offer this service.

Is the Property Child Friendly?
YES! Reconnect with your family and encourage your children to move away from the screen and into the wide outdoors. We have many activities suitable for the kids including rock hopping, bushwalking, cricket, tennis, swimming, fishing, kayaking, night time spotlighting or spot the echidna and other Australian wildlife.

Do you have Cooking Facilities outside of the Cottages?
Yes, we have an outdoor BBQ area available to guests (conditions apply) along with an enclosed Gazebo area complete with open fireplace available for guests.

What is included in our Fully Self-Contained Riverside Cottage?
Outdoor BBQ, Love swing, Balcony, Fridge, Toaster, Microwave, Tea/Coffee Making Facilities, Modern Cooktop/Oven, All Kitchen Supplies and Utensils, Bed linen, Blankets, Firewood/Fire starters, Torch, Cleaning Products and Supplies.

 *Please note food and drinks are not included; this is the responsibility of the guest.

Is the property a working cattle property?
YES we currently run a mix of stock predominantly Brahman, Braford, Brangus and Red Angus cattle. We also have Arab and Stock horses.

What wildlife can we expect to see?
An abundance of; rock wallabies, eastern grey kangaroos, swamp, pretty face and rock wallabies, echidna’s, platypus, eagles, wild boars, wild goats and a plethora of Australian birdlife. Spotlighting tours also uncover some unexpected wildlife on the property including the endangered spotted quoll, and brush tail and ring tail possums.
